The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
